Quotes & client approval for service pros
Turn Approved Quotes Into Invoices
Move an approved quote into an invoice while keeping the selected scope and totals together.
Carry approved work into an invoice
Create an invoice from the option the client approved, using the saved quote snapshot.
What this estimate usually includes
The invoice carries business and client details, selected items, and totals. Review the issue date, due date, notes, and payment instructions.
How to write exclusions
Changing an invoice note does not revise the approved quote. Use a new quote version if the agreed work changes.
When to offer Good / Better / Best
Only the approved option becomes the invoice. The other proposed service levels remain in the original quote.
After you send it
Share an invoice link or print a PDF. Update draft, sent, paid, or void status yourself; the status is a record only.
How to use this template
Adapt the opening
Name the client, describe the job, and set a valid-until date.
List the work
Use one row for each service or material and add quantities and units.
Add boundaries
Write what is included, excluded, and how timing or payment works.
Review and download
Check the totals and save a PDF before sending it.
Common questions
How do I create an invoice from a quote?
Open an approved quote in your workspace and choose Convert to invoice. Review the dates and payment notes, then share or print.
Can I download this document as a PDF?
Yes. Use Print / save PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser. Editing and downloading a local quote do not require signup.
How should I decide what to charge?
Use labor and material costs appropriate to your work and region. QuoteCedar does not provide price estimates.
Does the client need an account?
No. A shared client page can be opened without an account. The business signs in to save a quote and create the link.
Can I change approved details?
An approved quote is locked. Duplicate it to create a new draft version when the work needs to change.
