## Frequently asked questions

### Is the quotation generator free?

Yes. Edit and download a PDF without signing up, without a watermark and without a download allowance. A free account includes three client approval links each UTC calendar month.

### What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote usually states a fixed price, while an estimate is an approximate price that may change. QuoteCedar supports both document labels.

### How does client approval work?

Send a link. Your customer chooses an option, enters a name and confirms. The name, option and time are recorded; the customer does not need an account.

### Can I offer Good, Better and Best?

Yes. Add up to three named options with separate items, descriptions and totals, and optionally recommend one.

### Can an approved quote become an invoice?

Yes. Create an invoice from the approved snapshot, add payment instructions and share or print it. QuoteCedar does not collect payment.

### Does AI choose my prices?

No. Draft from notes organizes descriptions and items. Prices are entered and verified by the business.

### Can I add a logo?

Pro accounts can display their own business logo on client documents and PDFs.

### Which export formats are supported?

Use your browser print dialog to save a PDF in A4 or Letter. Word and Excel export are not available.

Languages: English has no URL prefix. Other locales use `/zh`, `/ru`, `/de`, `/fr`, `/ja`, `/ko`, `/es`, `/pt`, `/tr`.
